Solar Streetlight Technician​/CDL Operator - Radiance Program

Role Summary

Dalkia Energy Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Streetlight Technician/CDL Operator to join our Radiance team in San Antonio, Texas. As a Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar-powered streetlights in various locations throughout the city.

• Install and commission solar-powered streetlights in accordance with the company's safety and quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform minor repairs on existing streetlights.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with solar panels, batteries, wiring, and other components of the streetlights.
• Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including service reports and inventory levels.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on job progress and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
• Operate CDL-class vehicles (e.g., bucket trucks, flatbeds) to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Load, secure, and unload poles, solar equipment, and materials in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand and power tools required for installation and maintenance work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (CDL A is a MUST).
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
