Ride Mechanic

Location: Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio, Texas

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $18-$25+ per hour
$1/hour after 5pm, $5/hour on weekends

• Inspect, maintain, and repair ride systems and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and overhauls to keep rides operating safely and smoothly
• Tackle breakdowns, analyze issues, and fix them quickly
• Work with hydraulics, gearboxes, pneumatics, and conveyors to maintain ride performance
• Handle varied mechanical challenges to ensure rides remain in excellent condition

• Knowledge of machinery components (background in automotive or industrial mechanics a plus)
• Valid State Driver’s License
• High school diploma or GED
• A personal toolbox with a solid set of hand tools
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays (overtime may be required)
• Willingness to perform physical activities such as climbing, crawling, lifting at heights on ride structures
• Ability to climb up to 200ft
• Strong communication skills and ability to keep accurate written records
• Vocational or technical training in mechanical field a plus

• May perform other duties beyond scope as necessary to support the park as a whole
• Reports to Maintenance Leadership
