First year compensation
:
Roto-Rooter service technicians can expect top-pay, earning $55,000 on average. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience.

Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid sewer and drain service training, plus continuing training in our plumbing school to learn the trade. Your daily job will be providing sewer & drain service to our residential and commercial customers. The company also allows you to schedule time riding with, and working alongside, a licensed plumber to gain apprentice hours and knowledge needed to become a plumber.

• Provide effective solutions for plumbing and drain issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose issues on a service call and offer cost estimates to finalize the transaction.
• Perform repairs for the customer.
• Document estimates and invoices, in writing and on a provided smart phone.
• Collect payment and move on to the next service call.

• A valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills
• A mechanical aptitude is desirable, but prior plumbing experience is not necessary
