Hotel Security / Loss Prevention Officer - Overnight

The Loss Prevention Officer plays a vital role in preventing theft and keeping the hotel guests, customers, and colleagues safe. This is a fast‑paced position with customer‑ interaction that requires organization and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work afternoons compliqué, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Conduct foot patrols throughout the property
• Respond to medical emergencies on the premises
• Assist customers, guests, and colleagues with any security related issues or questions
• Monitor and review camera footage
• Assist with security office duties – answer phones, dispatch calls, sign in visitors, and conduct bag checks
• Perform all duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor and Security Director

Qualifications:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
• The ideal candidate will be able to work the overnight shift, including weekends, and holidays
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Previous security experience and customer service experience preferred
