As a Elite Armed Security Officer - Military/Law Enforcement Experience for a Supermarket in San Antonio, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively patrol retail locations to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and support a culture of teamwork, integrity, and care while contributing to a secure shopping experience.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 02:45 PM – 11:30 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help deter potential security-related incidents and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist store staff and patrons by providing information and support as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
