• Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing proper judgement and Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and address potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious activity or individuals and report findings according to established procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence in and around the location to help deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted behaviors.
• Interact professionally with store staff, visitors, and/or customers to provide assistance and support as needed.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Carry a firearm as authorized for the post, following all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
