Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Media Facility - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior; working environments and conditions may vary depending on the location within the tech, media, and telecom sector.
- Report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons, to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
- Complete required reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
- Assist in the implementation of emergency procedures and support evacuation processes as needed.
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
