• Provide excellent service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct both regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Follow all company and client policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
