As a Security Officer - Armed Store Patrol in San Antonio, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. This driving and armed post involves regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to situations as they arise.

Job Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

• Mon: 03:15 PM – 11:30 PM
• Tue: 03:15 PM – 11:30 PM
• Thu: 03:15 PM – 11:30 PM

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at the retail location while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail store and surrounding perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences while on duty.
• Work collaboratively with store personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for customers and staff.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings, reporting any suspicious behavior or activities to the appropriate authorities or management.
• Adhere to all company and client policies regarding the carrying and handling of firearms, maintaining professionalism and discretion at all times.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
