• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to deter theft and/or suspicious activity.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance as needed.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
• Collaborate with store management and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to security‑related situations, including those that may require an armed response.

• An Armed Guard Card or license is required. Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
