$15.50/hr with an additional $1/hr for 12am-8am shifts.

This seasonal overnight Security Officer ensures the safety and security of the park. With a Texas Level 2 license, you will patrol, respond to incidents, screen guests at the front gate, and uphold the park’s commitment to excellence.

• Gate Security
  :
  Verify identification and passes to allow only authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Confidentiality
  :
  Safeguard sensitive information encountered during patrols or incidents.
• Rapid Response
  :
  Respond promptly to security incidents to mitigate risks.
• Documentation
  :
  Write clear, concise reports detailing incidents and actions taken.
• Law Enforcement Compliance
  :
  Uphold local, state, and federal laws on park property.
• Asset Protection
  :
  Guard company assets, property, and facilities against threats.
• Traffic Control (as required):
  Manage vehicular flow during peak times and special events.
• Patrol Proficiency
  :
  Conduct systematic vehicle and bike patrols throughout the park.
• Collaborative Approach
  :
  Partner with on-duty law enforcement for seamless coordination.
• Dispatch Operations (as needed):
  Manage communications and resources during emergencies.
• Task Completion
  :
  Take on additional assignments delegated by management.
• Policy Adherence
  :
  Follow Six Flags Fiesta Texas handbook policies at all times.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be available to work overnight from 12A.M.
  
  - 8A.M.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid Texas Level 2 Security License.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time in South Texas weather.
• Willing and able to perform foot and bike patrols.
• Ability to climb a 50' tower.
• Previous security related experience preferred.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Organized with the ability to multi‑task.
• Safety conscious, mature, reliable and dependable.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including but not limited to overtime, weekends and some holidays.

• May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole.
• Reports to the Public Safety Department Leadership.
