Cardiovascular Ultrasound Product Sales Specialist - Houston or San Antonio

Overview

As the Product Sales Specialist for Cardiovascular Ultrasound (CVUS), you will be responsible for creating and winning sales opportunities for CVUS products, solutions, and services by calling on cardiology customers. This role is both clinical and technical. You will be a sales expert for your assigned products and are expected to differentiate GE Health Care’s offerings, convey compelling value proposition, lead the opportunity, qualify customer needs, develop and present solutions proposals and quotations, and respond to customers’ clinical, technical, and process questions to successfully close sales in the designated territory.

• Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations and presentations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities on Cardiovascular Ultrasound (CVUS) products in assigned territory.
• Maintaining satisfactory after-sale relationships. Penetrating competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements.
• Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive CVUS sales.
• Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining our existing customer portfolio.
• Annual and quarterly achievement of multiple sales and revenue targets.
• Development of long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.

• Bachelor s degree from an accredited university or college and 5 years or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience.
• Strong strategic sales skills with proven history of success
• Self-motivated and driven
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to decision makers.
• Must be willing to travel within the territory.

• Cardiovascular Ultrasound clinical application and/or product knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Capital equipment sales experience
• Healthcare sales experience.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and develop financially sound sales offers.
• Demonstrated strategic selling skills including customer presentations, price quoting, product demonstration, negotiation, closing and growing a sales territory.
• Proven executive (CXO) relationship building skills in a hospital/healthcare environment.
• Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process.
• Strong communication and clear-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages.
