• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service through proactive register visits, providing direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assist with customer assistance issues at the register.
• Assign store sweeps, monitor and maintain cash register supply levels, and keep restroom and parking areas clean.
• Maintain visibility of exit doors for security and loss‑prevention purposes.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements.
• Support the hiring and training of new cashiers and take appropriate disciplinary actions when needed.
• Excel in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth operations.

• Age 18+ with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of recent cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude; role model behaviour for customers.
• Proficient in operating front‑end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).
• Strong communication skills, ability to take direction and collaborate with a team.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks, multitasking, prioritising, and staying organised.
• Physically able to lift/carry product up to 30 lbs, move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force.
• Detail‑oriented with proficiency in cash handling and mathematics.
