Job DescriptionTo ensure proper training and supervision of all personnel, to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Responsible for assigned shift, assisting in overall management
- Supervise and coordinate assigned shift; pre-meal meeting conducted with staff daily
- Assist in overall supervision of the department
- Check staff punctuality
- Monitor timing of guest experience
- Spot check liquor pars
- Order daily supplies
- Complete Moments of Service Audits
- Handle guest comments and complaints
- Ensure guest satisfaction
- Stay on the floor during peak hours
- Communicate with guests and receive feedback
- Observe, teach, and correct staff's service
- Examine food preparation
- Examine beverage presentation
- Maintain condition of dining room
- Administrative responsibilities
- Assist Director of Outlets in scheduling, forecast weekly, forecast monthly and completing weekly payroll
- Participate in interviewing applicants
- Prepare maintenance requests and follow-up
- Complete other assigned duties
- Monitor food and liquor requisitions
- Monitor food waste
- Monitor labor and payroll costs
- Check bar controls, shot glass use, red lining, empty bottles
- Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws
- Must know emergency procedures (including CPR) and work to prevent accidents
- Perform any other duties assigned by management
- Must have and maintain current Serv Safe Food Manager’s Exam and TABC certifications.
- 2 years experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager, preferably in a 4 star high volume Restaurant or hotel is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in the hospitality industry.
- Micros knowledge
- Ability to make quick decisions in high stress situations
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi task.
- Prior serving and cash handling experience preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Collaborate with culinary team in creative in food presentations, specials and promotions.
- Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Understanding previous culinary training or experience with Menu Design.
