Cook Responsibilities

• This position works in the main kitchen preparing food items for the facility.
• Fulfilling the service per each Banquet Event Orders (BEO).
• Must be creative in designing buffet food presentations.
• Preparing recipes as directed.
• Maintaining all kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.
• Maintain clean safe working environment.
• Will sometimes be required to cook in concession stands.

• At least one-year experience in a banquet facility preparing meals for large events.
• High School diploma or G.E.D or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes.
• Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
• Adequate culinary and knife skills.
• Ability to read recipes and follow instructions.
• Familiar with all kitchen equipment.
• Show attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to pass both criminal background check.
• Must have current Serve Safe food handlers permit.
