The Customer Insights team performs consumer and product research on all H-E-B Own Brand items.
Responsibilities- Execute and plan Corporate, Quant, and Own Brand research sample screening and survey programming (sensory and consumer)
- Cultivate a community of customers and partners that can be used in H-E-B research studies
- Schedule, expedite, and coordinate with internal groups to keep projects moving ahead
- Propose and develop panel recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies through analysis of available panel data and external best practices
- Scrutinize sample and data for accuracy in project targeting and data analysis
- Master the panel and project execution platform
- Manage day‑to‑day communications with panel members via email, newsletters, and social media
- Respond promptly to panel member questions, concerns, and issue tickets to resolve problems
- Serve as a trusted adviser to stakeholders, identifying additional sample and survey opportunities
- Stay current on market research panel industry standards, innovations and best practices
- Establish effective procedures for getting work done
- Keep information and documentation organized and accessible
- Follow up on all requests in a timely manner
- 2+ years of experience in Market Research, Social Sciences, Psychology, Survey Methodology, or an equivalent program
- Basic understanding of panel management, sampling, questionnaire design, coding, tabulation, quality assurance, data security and email deliverability
- Knowledge of probability sampling, precise project control, quality control procedures, questionnaire programming and insightful analysis
- Working knowledge of SAS, SPSS, Qualtrics or other analysis software
- Good understanding of qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Proficiency in MS Office and office equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks with attention to detail
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages simultaneously and to prioritize
- Workable in a fast‑paced retail office environment
- Willingness to travel by car or plane with overnight stays
- Ability to work extended hours and sit for extended periods
- Hand/finger dexterity
