Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
** Community Manager
** to oversee the day-to-day operations of a managed property while fostering a strong sense of community among residents. This
** contract-to-hire
** role is ideal for a motivated professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering positive resident experiences. The initial contract period will serve as an opportunity to assess performance and alignment, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Description
The Community Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth property operations, supporting residents and tenants, and maintaining a welcoming, well-managed environment. This role serves as the primary liaison between residents, vendors, and ownership while supporting occupancy, service, and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, tenants, vendors, and service providers
- Oversee leasing activities, including move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely, high-quality resolution
- Manage property budgets, rent collection, and basic financial reporting
- Enforce community policies and regulations to maintain a safe, respectful environment
- Plan and implement community events to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction
- Work closely with ownership or property management leadership to meet occupancy, service, and financial objectives
Qualifications
- Minimum of
** 2 years of experience
** in property management or community management - Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in property management software such as
** Res Man, Yardi, App Folio**, or similar platforms - Knowledge of
** Fair Housing laws
** and applicable local regulations - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Schedule
- Full-time
- Weekend availability as needed
