Our client, a leader in healthcare technology services, is seeking a Biomedical Technician to join their team. As a Biomedical Technician, you will be part of the Medical Equipment Support Department supporting the San Antonio, TX site. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Biomedical Technician

Location: San Antonio, TX

Pay Range: 20-25/hr

What's the Job?
  • Perform repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on medical VAC equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
  • Conduct post‑repair functional testing and accurately document results in device history records.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring traceability and proper documentation of parts used during repairs.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and prepare repair quotes to support customer needs and equipment management.
  • Support project activities including hardware testing, software updates, and equipment rework to meet organizational goals.
What's Needed?
  • Associate’s degree in electrical, engineering, or electronics; or a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
  • At least 1‑2 years of experience in manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, or pneumatic repair, preferably in a healthcare or military environment.
  • Experience with electronic soldering/desoldering and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and self‑motivation skills.
  • Ability to work on‑site in San Antonio, TX, and adhere to safety and quality standards.
