Biomedical Technician

Our client, a leader in healthcare technology services, is seeking a Biomedical Technician to join their team. As a Biomedical Technician, you will be part of the Medical Equipment Support Department supporting the San Antonio, TX site. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Biomedical Technician

20-25/hr

• Perform repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on medical VAC equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.

• Conduct post-repair functional testing and accurately document results in device history records.

• Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring traceability and proper documentation of parts used during repairs.

• Diagnose equipment issues and prepare repair quotes to support customer needs and equipment management.

• Support project activities including hardware testing, software updates, and equipment rework to meet organizational goals.

• Associate's degree in electrical, engineering, or electronics; or a bachelor's degree with relevant experience.

• At least 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, or pneumatic repair, preferably in a healthcare or military environment.

• Experience with electronic soldering/desoldering and troubleshooting electronic equipment.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and self-motivation skills.

• Ability to work on-site in San Antonio, TX, and adhere to safety and quality standards.
