About Us
About Us: Join Morgan's Camp as a Seasonal Program Instructor and help us redefine what it means to be an accessible camp. Reporting to the Program Director and Department Managers, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional programming that delivers unforgettable experiences for campers, guests, staff, and volunteers. Your creativity and passion will drive our mission forward, ensuring every moment at Morgan's Camp reflects our core values.
The RoleAt Morgan's Camp, we operate through partnerships, focusing on optimizing camper activities rather than direct cabin care. As an instructor, you ll contribute extensively to program development and weekly preparations for our diverse groups. Our tailored curriculum will guide you through the behind-the-scenes operations of running a camp, with opportunities to shape the learning experience as a team. As a Ranch and Nature Specialist, you ll engage across all aspects of camp but receive specialized training at Spur Ranch and The Stockyards, which will be your main focus.
At Spur Ranch, we invite individuals of all ages and abilities to immerse themselves in unforgettable equine and nature adventures. Picture yourself facilitating arena rides, guiding trail excursions, nurturing horse grooming skills, and delivering engaging classroom sessions—all designed to empower our campers and enhance their riding experiences.
In the Stockyards, our interactive educational hub, you’ll play a role in creating exciting environments where guests and animals can interact together. Dive into the fascinating world of Texas wildlife as you educate campers about native and non-native species. From snakes, spiders, and lizards to birds, ferrets, rabbits, and barnyard animals like goats and sheep, you’ll be instrumental in their care and handling, ensuring a memorable and educational experience for all.
