Veterinarian - Medical Director

The Company:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to join our newly built hospital in San Antonio, Texas , as Medical Director/Chief of Staff. Our state-of-the-art facility includes a full in-house lab suite, digital x-ray, ultrasound, cold laser, digital dental x-ray, high-speed dental, a modern surgery suite, and isolation rooms. We also offer robust wellness plans to promote lifelong health for our patients and foster strong doctor-client relationships.

Position

In this leadership role, you'll mentor your own team while enjoying the autonomy to practice medicine your way, supported by a dedicated administrative team. You'll also benefit from the expertise of fellow Chiefs of Staff, our Chief Medical Officer (who owns 13 animal hospitals), and other seasoned professionals, including our Medical Officer in Columbus, Ohio, our Feline Medical Officer (President-elect of the AAFP), and our Field Medical Director (DABVP and Certified Practice Manager).

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Associate Vet’s, Veterinary Technicians, and Other Staff Members to Provide Comprehensive Care
  • Monday-Friday (Flexible Schedule Possible)
  • No Weekends
  • No Emergency Veterinary Medicine
  • Diagnose and Treat Illnesses and Injuries in Animals
  • Conduct Regular Check-Ups and Vaccinations
Requirements:
  • Clear and Active License in Veterinarian Medicine in Texas
Compensation:

$200,000 per year
