Job Summary:

As a Part‑time associate Veterinarian, you will play a vital role in providing quality medical care to small animals at our busy veterinary clinic. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians and support staff to provide comprehensive medical services, including routine examinations, surgeries, and emergency care. This is a great opportunity for a skilled veterinarian looking for a part‑time position with a reputable and well‑established clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine examinations and provide medical care to small animals
  • Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as needed
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all legal requirements
  • Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and share knowledge with the team
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas for improving clinic operations
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a veterinarian
  • Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast‑paced and team‑oriented environment
  • Passion for providing high‑quality care to animals

This is a part‑time position. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend shifts may be required. The contract details, including compensation and benefits, will be discussed during the interview process.
