Position Overview:

Methodist Hospital is seeking experienced ICU nurses to join the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to care for high‑acuity patients, and adherence to Methodist’s floating and attendance policies.

• Shifts:
  
  7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Workdays:
  Rotating weekends
• Call Requirements:
  None
• Floating:
  Required per Methodist Floating Policy
• Start Date:
  
  March 2, 2026

• Badge in and out every shift
• Full 30‑minute lunch required
• Clock‑in time: 6:38 AM/PM
• After 6:45 AM/PM is considered tardy

Candidates must meet all of the following criteria:

• Minimum 2–3 years of ICU experience
• Strong critical‑thinking and assessment skills
• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• ACLS
• BLS
• NIH Stroke Certification

• MICU or MSICU background
• IABP exposure
• CRRT experience
• Meditech experience

• Chest tubes, tracheostomies, GI scopes
• Intubations, central lines, arterial lines
• NG tubes, Foley catheters, dressing changes
