Role Description

The Director of Nursing will lead and oversee all clinical operations to ensure quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. Duties include supervising nursing staff, implementing infection control protocols, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring excellence in nursing services. This is a full-time, on-site position based in San Antonio, TX. The Director of Nursing will also play a crucial role in developing policies, training staff, and maintaining high standards of long-term care.

Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in Nursing Management and leadership, with a focus on overseeing teams and maintaining high operational standards
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Infection Control and implementing protocols for patient safety
  • Extensive background in Nursing and Medicine, with an emphasis on hospice or palliative care
  • Familiarity with hospice care practices and ensuring continuity of quality care among patients
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in hospice administration is highly desirable
