* Job Description:
** - Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)! - Work a day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM, providing crucial care to our pediatric patients.

Competencies:
- Leader of Self - Leader of Others - Leader of Leaders - Provide exceptional nursing care utilizing the nursing process:
- Assessment - Diagnosis - Planning - Intervention - Evaluation - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided diligently.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and caregivers.

Skills:
** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred).
*
* Experience:
** - Minimum of 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty (preferred).
** Licenses, Registrations, or
Certifications:
** - Current BLS certification (AHA only).
- Current ACLS certification (AHA only).
- Current PALS certification (AHA only).
- RN License in the state of TX or compact.
** Position Requirements:** - Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- Successfully complete preceptorship and organization’s entry competency validation for pediatric services.
- Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.
- Experience in a Pediatric Setting or Perinatal RN Residency (preferred).
