- Unit staffing description- communication boards, hourly rounding, bedside shift report, AIDET
- Documentation system: EBCD Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: Work every other weekend, as well as some holidays

Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
- 2+ Years of Hospital/Specialty experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- Telemetry – monitoring
- Ability to work with a team, fast paced clinical setting
- NIH REQUIRED
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Knowledge of cardiac medications
- Knowledge of IV Drip management, such insulin, heparin, and other cardiac drips
Specialty/Unit Certifications
Required:
(RN)
- Active Texas RN License – Temp License will NOT be accepted
Procedures performed on unit:
- IV insertion and management
- Management of lines and drains
- Management of post care of cardiac catheterization/pacemaker placement or revision/vascular surgery
- Documentation utilizing Meditech charting
Patient Experience Required:
- effective communication with patients, de-escalation techniques
Dress Code:
Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
- Scrub Color
- RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
- Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy
- Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
- Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
- Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
