Seeking a Nursing Administrator (nights) for Methodist Hospital | Westover Hills ensures high quality, patient‑centered care through direction and supervision of all house‑wide functions during a designated shift. The House Supervisor participates as an active member of the nursing management team and assumes authority to manage all activities and personnel in conjunction with and in the absence of hospital administration.

• Accurately assess the needs of the Nursing Department and the patients served and facilitate obtaining ancillary services response and/or needed resources in situations affecting the optimal delivery of patient care.
• Participate in and support the development and actualization of the Department of Nursing’s goals. Assist in communicating the philosophy and expectations of the Department of Nursing.
• Serve as a communication liaison between the administrator on‑call and nursing management, staff, patients, families, and visitors.
• Provide on‑site leadership, direction, and support for the operational management of patient service areas during designated shifts.
• Monitor workload on patient care units and communicate observations to the appropriate shift charge/coordinator, and manager.

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in clinical practice Required.
• 3+ years’ experience in clinical practice Preferred.
