Job Summary and Qualifications

This role ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the daily function and staffing of the Pediatric Oncology unit. The Manager monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

Essential Duties
  • Leads in a way that inspires commitment to the vision, mission, and values of the organization and implements evidence‑based employee engagement practices.
  • Identifies development opportunities or training needs of individual employees and teams and provides coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
  • 1+ years applicable experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • 3+ years applicable experience preferred.
Required Licensure
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 90 days of hire.
