About the Role

The Part‑Time Hospice Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in delivering skilled, compassionate care to patients in their homes or residential settings. You will be a trusted guide for families, a clinical expert for patients, and a valued member of our interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide symptom management, medication administration, and comfort‑focused interventions
  • Educate families on disease progression, care techniques, and available resources
  • Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and hospice aides
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Participate in on‑call rotation as needed
  • Offer emotional and spiritual support consistent with patient and family preferences
Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (hospice or home health preferred)
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Valid driver s license and reliable transportation
  • A heart for service and a commitment to compassionate care
