Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse – LPN/LVN (Overnight Shifts)
Our local office in SA TX 78259 is looking for a team of compassionate nurses to provide care for a very special client/patient. Available shifts:
Monday and Friday (7a-7p). Age range:
Teenager. Acuity:
Feeding tube & Medication Administration (training provided).

- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Compact license transferred to state of residence within 90 days (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification (hands‑on component);
Aveanna can assist after hire - TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Six months hands‑on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted state license
- Proficiency in clinical assessments & documentation
- South Carolina – 1 year pediatrics experience
- California – 1 year experience under current nursing license
- Louisiana – 1 year experience as licensed nurse
- Continuing education as required by state
- Six months recent experience as Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
- Home health experience
- Attention to detail

- Speak, read, write, & understand English
- Travel ability
- Lift 50 pounds
- Move patients & equipment without assistance
- Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting

- Strong sense of smell & touch
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations
- Work in varied environments, potential allergens, blood exposure
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for providing and documenting skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with the developed care plan and physicians orders. Responsibilities include delivering coordinated patient care, observing and assessing patient condition, documenting activities, participating in care plan updates, and maintaining infection control standards.
