Since 1987, Laurel Ridge Treatment Center has been the premier provider of specialized behavioral health and addictive disease services in San Antonio and South Texas. With a 330‑bed facility on a 29‑acre campus, the center offers comprehensive programs for patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, young adults, adults, veterans, and military personnel.

• Assesses patients and provides compassionate care.
• Provides direct patient care and management for adults (18+), adolescents (12‑18), and children (4‑12) as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Provides medical management, assessment, and safety/crisis management for patient populations.
• Provides leadership and direction to Mental Health Workers and LVNs.
• Administers medication and medical treatment as prescribed by a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner.
• Supports the therapeutic milieu through structured activities and documentation in the multidisciplinary treatment plan.
• Implements nursing and milieu care, overseeing therapeutic environment.
• Assesses, intervenes, and directs staff in psychiatric and/or medical crisis situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required by the position.

• ADN or BSN degree.
• Valid medical licensure.
• Proficient nursing assessment, diagnosis, and intervention with psychiatric patients.
• Ability to accurately administer medication and monitor side effects.
• Knowledge of milieu management.
• Ability to delegate responsibilities to staff and monitor performance.
• Ability to safely implement emergency behavioral interventions.
