Intensive Care Nurse

Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for an Intensive Care Nurse located in San Antonio, TX. The Intensive Care Nurse will provide comprehensive and compassionate care to critically ill patients in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting. Responsibilities include monitoring and assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, providing emotional support to patients and families, and maintaining detailed patient records and vital statistics.

The nurse will adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a high standard of care in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, and providing high-quality patient care
• Experience in Emergency Nursing and Critical Care Medicine
• Comprehensive knowledge of Medicine and treatments for critically ill patients
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Active RN license in the state of Texas
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and Critical Care Nursing certifications are preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
