Infusion RN‑Float Homebase Downtown – The US Oncology Network

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday (8:30 am‑5:00 pm). No weekends, call or major holidays. The role supports the Downtown San Antonio, TX location.

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care in accordance with established standards.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide education and instructional material.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician direction.
• Administer medications and blood products accurately.
• Obtain necessary pre‑authorizations and consent forms.
• Facilitate dose modification by evaluating labs and consulting protocol, calculating dose, and consulting physician.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports and maintain central line catheter devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments.
• Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.

• BSN or accredited professional nursing program (BSN preferred). Minimum 0‑3 years RN experience.
• Entry, mid or senior level acceptable.
• Current RN state license and BLS certification.

Possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment.

Full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination. Standing and walking for extensive periods; occasional lifts up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
