Wound Care Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Full Time Days

We are looking for a dedicated licensed vocational nurse to provide wound care therapy for our patients. This role will coordinate wound care into the overall nursing plan, teach patients and families, and lead with collaboration across the care team to maintain professional nursing standards.

The Wound Care Licensed Vocational Nurse coordinates wound care therapy into the total nursing care plan for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
• Certification from an approved wound care certification course is preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Two years direct patient care experience required; experience in wound care preferred.
