Chief CRNA

GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Chief CRNA. The duties of this position include managing nurse anesthesia services in collaboration with anesthesia, surgery, and nursing departments. The role involves ensuring the safe operation and quality control of equipment, techniques, and procedures, as well as analyzing activities to maintain high-quality patient care.

• Manage daily operations of the anesthesia department.
• Recommend staffing and budget adjustments.
• Coordinate with facility administration on supplies and equipment.
• Assist in planning departmental goals and activities.
• Hire, evaluate, and counsel personnel; implement personnel policies.
• Oversee work schedules, on-call duties, and emergency procedures.
• Develop productivity and quality improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Maintain security of controlled substances.
• Perform clinical anesthesia as scheduled, providing patient care in accordance with CRNA privileges.

• Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) required; valid CRNA certification required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive CRNA experience preferred.

• Ability to perform clinical duties regularly.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient growth/development principles.
• Proficient in technical and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and resolve conflicts.
