Retina Consultants of Texas (RCTX) is seeking a Dedicated Assistant to join our innovative team with the mission of Fighting Blindness For The World To See. Under the direction of the clinic managers and the designated physicians, the dedicated assistant will provide coherent continuity of patient care by following up with patients' medical records, lab results, and physician correspondence with co‑managing doctors, in addition to clinical duties.

Candidate must be able to travel to various clinics, communicate effectively, and be highly organized to work in a fast‑paced environment. This position will travel to clinics in and around San Antonio. Mileage will be compensated. Candidates must be able to travel to various clinics to meet the needs of the patients and providers, and support the Clinic hours of Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30am-6:30pm.

Schedules are provided weekly and are based on the provider's clinic, patient and surgery schedules. Clinic staff are provided with the opportunity for weekend hours if available. • Greet and guide patients to examination rooms
• Acquaint yourself with all new and established patients, providing plan/setting expectations for visit
• Maintain a smooth and seamless flow of patients to examination rooms
• Document all history and testing information accurately and consistently
• Updating and filing patient's medical records including lab results and outside medical records
• Summarize all exam details from physician into patients electronic chart, including but not limited to: proper charting of examination, additions to chief complaint, physician assessment and recommendations for treatment
