Nurse Practitioner (61596)

Sanitas Medical Centers

Location: San Antonio, TX

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive medical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Diagnose and manage chronic and acute conditions.
  • Promote wellness through screenings, education, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators.
  • Utilize modern electronic health records (EHR) and digital tools to streamline care.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Texas (or eligible).
  • Board certified or board eligible.
  • Primary Care or Internal Medicine experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and clinical judgment.
  • Passion for patient-centered, value-based care.
Required Education
  • Masters Degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
Required Experience
  • 3+ years in Primary Care.
Required Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid State Nurse Practitioner License.
  • Current State D.E.A. Certificate.
  • Certification by one of the NP certifying bodies (ANCC or AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Gerontology NP.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
Other Information
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
  • Physical demands: ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds with occasional exertion; reach with hands and arms; balance and kneel.
  • Travel: flexible to travel per business needs.
