Overview

The Partnerships Coordinator plays a key role in advancing CRIT’s mission by developing and maintaining meaningful partnerships that drive growth and sustainability. This position is responsible for securing sponsor ships, cultivating corporate fundraising relationships, and supporting events that strengthen CRIT’s visibility and impact. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong communication and donor engagement skills. They will be instrumental in identifying and securing sponsorship opportunities, nurturing long-term partnerships, and maximizing outreach efforts to enhance community and corporate engagement.

Conditions

This position involves a combination of office and field work. Duties are performed in a general office environment and in the community meeting with potential sponsors, attending events, and cultivating relationships to support CRIT’s mission. The role requires the ability to exert a light degree of physical effort, including carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, and the assisted lifting of objects and materials up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision. There may be limited exposure to outdoor and environmental conditions. The position also requires use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-function printer, calculator, and manual dexterity to reach, bend, and use a two-step stool safely when handling materials.

Travel is an essential component of this role, including frequent local travel for community engagement and sponsor outreach, as well as occasional travel to other states for meetings, events, and partnership development. The Partnerships Coordinator may also be required to work after hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed to support events or organizational initiatives.

Essential Functions
  • Identifies and pursues strategic partnerships for event supporters and partnerships that align with CRIT USA’s mission and values.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with partners, ensuring excellent stewardship and communication.
  • Manages pre-event and post-event partnership materials tailored to the needs and interests of all CRIT partners.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing and Communications team on outreach initiatives to promote sponsorship opportunities effectively.
  • Researches and identifies corporate fundraising prospects and develops strategies to engage them.
  • Ensures sponsor ships are maximized during fundraising events.
  • Works with the Business Development team on various initiatives and projects as needed. Events on the weekends included.
  • Tracks and evaluates the success of events and partnerships, providing post-event recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develops other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achievements in sponsorship sales, corporate fundraising, or business development within the non-profit sector.
  • Valid Texas Driver License.
  • Criminal background check.
  • Non-DOT drug test.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
