What We Are Looking For

Overland Partners’ Marketing & Business Development Coordinator will support the Marketing and Business Development, and Communications department. This position will focus on maintaining an organized BD process (RFP/RFQ submissions, CRM data and tracking, etc.), with the opportunity to also support a range of communications tactics and strategies (social/digital media, PR, content, etc.).

Duties & Responsibilities

Business Development + Marketing

  • Support CRM management, working closely with team to ensure content in CRM is updated on an ongoing basis. CRM management includes: opportunity tracking and data input; tracking publications for all projects (Google Alerts) and recording in CRM; managing updated descriptions as they are written internally and recording copy from award submissions; tracking project updates at all-hands meetings and recording in CRM
  • Support RFQ/RFP creation as it relates to process, content gathering, team management and graphic design
  • Assist with award submissions

Communications + Public Relations

  • Support Overland team with daily communications organization and process related items, including deadline and deliverable management, scheduling, etc.
  • Support external PR efforts as it relates to content gathering, planning, tracking and implementation
  • Assist in project shoot scheduling, coordination and photographer booking.
  • Support event and sponsorship needs, including collateral creation, logo management, coordination efforts, etc.
  • Support any external advertising related needs, including asset creation, coordination and tracking efforts.

Content, Brand + Editorial

  • Develop, write and edit content in collaboration with Overland team to live across the company’s owned channels, including but not limited to Website, social media, newsletter, internal comms, white papers, case studies, etc.
  • Support all facets of graphic design and collateral creation as needed and support management of brand standards across the firm.
  • Manage monthly social media content calendar for Overland Partners; serve as responsible party for content/asset creation and posting.
  • Work with team to develop social media positioning strategy/execution plan for key team members and principals.
  • Manage asset library ensuring all content (images, descriptions, project details) and projects are accurately uploaded, labeled and updated.
  • Keep website updated with current projects, visuals and content.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Marketing/BD/Communications Coordinator or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related discipline is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies
  • Strong graphic design skillet, preferably in an architecture, design, or creative agency environment
  • Expert working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with primary focus in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Understand principles of copywriting, graphic design, layout and publishing
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and social media marketing
  • Impeccable copywriting and copy-editing abilities
  • Strong organizational skillset and ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
