Responsibilities- Fabricate, repair, and maintain tools, dies, fixtures, and aircraft parts to support production needs
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to produce accurate tooling components
- Operate manual machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Use precision measuring instruments both in-shop and on-aircraft to validate quality and dimensional accuracy
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve tooling challenges and improve production processes
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure all components meet required standards
- Support Aircraft Structures III tasks including assembly, installation, and structural repairs as needed
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience as a Machinist or Tool & Die Maker
- 5+ years operating manual mill and lathe machines
- 5+ years reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- 5+ years using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker (preferred title specialization)
- Familiarity with Aircraft Structures III processes and procedures
- Flexibility to support aircraft structural assembly, installation, and repair work as needed
