We are seeking a Teardown Technician to join our Inventory Yard team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the disassembly and inspection of mechanical equipment, ensuring that all components are managed effectively for repair, reuse, or recycling. Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Teardown Technician will contribute to our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence through meticulous teardown processes.

• Disassemble various types of mechanical and electrical equipment following established protocols.
• Sort and categorize parts for reuse, recycling, or disposal in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Maintain an organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency in teardown operations.
• Operate tools and machinery safely, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Assist in inventory management by updating records on parts and materials handled.

• Technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
• Experience in a workshop or mechanical environment, or any role using tools and physical labor to attain results.
• Some mechanical aptitude and familiarity with a wide range of tools.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment as necessary.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
