Summary/Objective

Provides a variety of materials handling functions in support of warehouse to fulfill operational duties.

Key Performance Indicators

* Individual will be monitored daily to ensure quality accuracy while staying in compliance.

* Support company goals by maintaining a minimum RFSmart scan to fulfill business needs

* Person will maintain a safe environment to measure departmental goals for better practice.

Essential Functions

* Receive, store, inspect and issue material from the assigned warehouse(s). Sort, count, mix and weigh material as requested.

* Package, palletize and route material to appropriate area using pallet jack, dolly, or forklift.

* Perform physical inventories and cycle counts.

* Identify appropriate stock locations supporting FIFO rotation and stock consolidation efforts.

* Review receiving paperwork for correctness, research and resolve stock discrepancies.

* Replenish component inventory as required by each production area as required

Use computer system and RFsmart scan device.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse related experience required.

* 10 key and data entry experience a plus.

* Knowledge of computers for tracking inventory.

* Able to complete written reports.

* Able to use miscellaneous material handling equipment (i.e.

- pallet jacks, dollies).

* Detail-oriented to review emails.

* Lifting required up to 30 lbs.

Education & Experience

* H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. equivalency preferred

* Minimum 6 months forklift experience required.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The employee is exposed to outside weather conditions at the manufacturing site. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing for up to 8 hours, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.

The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and move items up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee's in this position are required to wear steel or composite-toe boots or shoes when present or working within the manufacturing areas of the facility.
