Vacancy: 3rd shift,
Hours:
10:00pm - 6:30am. Monday through Friday with possible OT on weekends.
A Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company requirements and are manufactured according to Customer Specifications. Some of their duties include measuring parts, running tests, identify defects in production line and compare products against Boundary Sample to ensure the products meets our Customers Standards.
Main Duties And Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned)- Provide support as needed, to ensure that the team achieves productivity and quality goals.
- Inspect samples parts (FPA / LPA/ Hourly Checks) using Gages/Checking Fixtures/Capture System for measuring dimensions of the parts and examining Appearance, Color and Gloss.
- Perform measurement analysis per FPA/ LPA protocols.
- Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
- Ensure all nonconforming material its properly identified, removed from production work cells, and relocation to QA Hold area.
- Initiate and work with production to eliminate /reduce internal caused nonconformances.
- Assist with corrective action response, implementation activities, validation of SWI’s and verification activities
- Coordinate Sort activities internally or external at our customer plants. (Perform sort, rework and inspection activity as required)
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations established by RAG.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months experience with manufacturing quality systems.
- ISO 9001 and/or IATF
16949 preferred

- 100% of the time will be spent on the production floor walking, standing and engaged in the actives associated with the role.
- Be comfortable with lifting, squatting and repetitive movements.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds individually and team lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others. Must wear all personal protective equipment where required.
