* Qualifications:

*** High School Diploma
* Able to demonstrate basic computer skills, math and problem-solving; mechanical, numerical, and verbal aptitude to learn our jobs quickly
* Successfully complete a pre-employment mechanical aptitude test and interview process
* Successful completion of background check, physical and drug screening is required
* Must be able to read and follow, weight fractions of ounces, and measure accurately by gallons, pints, and ounces (good math skills)
* Must be able to use various forms of PPE including respiratory protection
* Ability to use hand tools and lift up to 50 lbs.
* Lifting, walking, standing, pushing, and pulling
** Responsibilities:
*** The successful candidate in an Operator position will be trained in all facets paint mix room operation (Mixing, sampling, testing paint) to learn these essential duties of the position
* The incumbent must operate production equipment safely to ensure the highest quality and correct quantity in accordance with the production schedule, standard operating procedures, and supervisory instructions
* Operators will understand the mechanics of how to operate various types of equipment with confidence
* Solve routine problems associated with job responsibilities
* Performs all duties in a safe working manner, following all of Axalta's safety policies and procedures
* Blend and mix toners to designated formula (by hand and using a mix machine)
* Control paint viscosities and tank levels
* Record and document all pertinent information when completing mixes
* Make sure work area is cleaned up
* Operate mix machine and paint delivery systems
* Directly responsible for housekeeping and control of waste generation
* Ability to work schedule with assigned overtime.
