Light Industrial/Manufacturing Tool and Die Maker – San Antonio, TX

Associate - W2 – Duration: 26 weeks – Shift: 1 – Positions Available: 2
- Fabricate, repair, and maintain various tools, dies, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create precise tooling components
- Operate manual machining equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Utilize measuring instruments, both in the shop and out on the aircraft, to ensure accuracy and quality of work
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop innovative solutions for tooling needs
- Perform inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Assist with aircraft structures III work, including assembly, installation, and repair tasks as needed
- Fabrication of aircraft parts
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.
Physical Requirements- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- 5+ years of experience as a Machinist or Tool Maker
- 5+ years of experience operating manual mill and manual lathe machines
- 5+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- 5+ years of experience working with precision measuring tools
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker
- Knowledge of aircraft structures III and related processes
- Flexibility to work on aircraft structures III tasks as required
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
High school or GED
Minimum Security ClearanceNo Clearance
