Weekend Warehouse Associate

Overview

Misfits Market is a mission-driven, high-growth startup delivering organic produce, high-quality meats and seafood, plant-based proteins, dairy, bakery, wine, and other grocery items. This role supports our warehouse operations in a temperature-controlled environment.

As a production associate in our warehouse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. You will select, pack, and prepare products with precision and attention to quality, working in a fast-paced and collaborative team setting.

• Utilize a finger scanner and Warehouse Management System (WMS) to locate and select products from designated storage areas within the refrigerated warehouse.
• Safely and efficiently pack selected items into appropriate packaging, considering temperature-sensitive requirements for refrigerated products.
• Ensure that all picked items match customer orders and meet Misfits’ quality standards. Use appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage or spoilage during transportation.
• Conduct regular quality checks on products to identify damages, discrepancies, or expiration issues.
• Work closely with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
• Verify and maintain inventory levels within your bay, communicating with other teams to ensure timely replenishment and minimize disruptions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper use of PPE in a food-based, refrigerated environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace and complete all required safety training in a timely manner.
• Maintain functional knowledge in all areas of the production line, including box building and prepping.

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees).
• Strong verbal communications skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you.
• Ability to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
• Experience working in a food-based environment.

Sunday–Thursday: $16.00;
Weekly pay. Off days:
Fridays and Saturdays.

• Sunday: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
• Monday & Tuesday: 4:30 am – 4:30 pm
• Wednesday: 8:30 am – 2:30 pm
• Thursday: 6:30 am – 12:00 pm
