Materials Planner

Genesis
10 is seeking a Materials Planner for a full-time position with a manufacturing client located in San Antonio, TX. This role is 100% onsite. Compensation: $25.00 – 27.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Monday — Thursday, 6:30am — 3:30pm with lunch (10 hr shifts)

Summary: The Materials Planner will work within a material planning team at the International San Antonio manufacturing facility, where Class 6-8 commercial trucks and EVs are built. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials through the production cycle to ensure efficient operations.

• Plan, schedule, and monitor the flow of materials through the production cycle.
• Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
• Coordinate the efficient movement of materials between purchasing, production, and engineering teams.
• Develop specifications for new contract orders.
• Maintain procurement system data integrity, including creation and maintenance of bills of material and part/commodity numbers in supply chain or enterprise-wide systems.
• Adhere to plant safety requirements, including wearing steel-toed shoes and refraining from wearing jewelry on the production floor.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (no experience required), OR At least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to work onsite daily. Must wear steel-toed shoes for the entire workday. No jewelry permitted in the plant environment. Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis

10 (no corp-to-corp).
