Job Summary
Fabricator / Welder Operator at NOV – responsible for welding, fabrication, installation, maintenance and safety of production machinery.
Responsibilities- MIG, TIG, and stick welding with the ability to pass a weld test.
- Fabricate production machinery per print and /or verbal instructions.
- Create jigs and fixtures for weldments.
- Install new equipment and machinery.
- Basic anchoring and rigging skills.
- Maintain equipment and tools by performing inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Wear appropriate PPE.
- Comply with all company and HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
- 5 years related experience.
- Standing and walking up to 12 hours daily.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Travel less than 10%.
- Dependable, punctuality and excellent attendance.
- MIG, TIG and stick welding experience.
- Experience fabricating production machinery per print.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus.
