Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Business Developers across multiple markets (Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Houston).
- Set and monitor sales goals, KPIs, and activity benchmarks for each Business Developer.
- Conduct regular field visits and client meetings to support team efforts and build key relationships.
- Travel regularly to branches as needed for important sales meetings, trade shows, and industry conferences.
- Develop regional sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand services with existing clients.
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, competitor activity, pricing benchmarks, and emerging best practices in commercial landscaping.
- Review and approve bids, proposals, and pricing in coordination with the estimating and operations teams.
- Ensure effective use of CRM (Aspire) for tracking leads, pipeline progress, and client communication.
- Partner with Branch Managers and operational leaders to ensure alignment of sales goals with production capacity.
- Attend executive, branch, and sales team meetings to provide updates, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Lead or support strategic pursuits, including RFP responses and presentations to high-value clients.
- Maintain strong market awareness and industry intelligence across all operating territories.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, crouch, bend, and lift.
Travel: A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided. Any travel will be within business hours.
