Job Title: Meter Inspection Technician - Victoria, TX

$20–$22/hr | Paid Training | Field-Based Work

Forge ahead with WSB. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Meter Inspection Technician to support gas meter inspection and corrosion prevention activities in the Victoria area
. This is a field-based role ideal for candidates who enjoy working outdoors and want stable, full-time work with a respected consulting firm.

• Perform visual inspections of above-ground gas meters and piping
• Identify signs of corrosion or coating damage
• Document inspection results using a company-provided mobile application
• Perform basic remediation work such as cleaning, wire brushing, and painting
• Report potential gas leaks and follow safety protocols
• Travel locally to residential and commercial meter locations

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to walk long distances and perform physical work
• Comfortable using a smartphone for photos and documentation
• Prior utility, construction, or inspection experience is helpful but not required

• $20–$22 per hour based on experience
• Paid training and certification support
• Full-time, steady work, OT eligible
• Company-provided resources
• Mileage reimbursement $0.70 per mile
• Weekly smartphone reimbursement $15.00
